Vietnamese Lacquer is a century old tradition. First, the bamboo is selected and sliced and carefully layered to create graceful forms that are dried (kiln dried) to preserve the original form, and then many coasts of lacquer and applied. 

These sumptuous handspun bamboo and wood vessels have a formal elegance with the soul of one of the great craft traditions of the world.
