ANTIQUE PHILLIPINE CAPIZ SHELL- WINDOW SCREENS
Capiz Shell Window Screens are handmade antique original pieces date to the 1850fs and were used in Colonial Philippines as a way to keep insects out but let the light in. The capiz shell was used instead of glass and has a stunning look when light refracted through them. (Capiz shells are one of the hottest items in home decor!) The wood frame is teak. They can be used as they were made, as a beautiful window covering or hook them together to make a gorgeous standing screen. (A favorite of our interior designers) The widow screens come in variety of sizes ( 4', 5',6' tall) and designs.
